2022 Favorites

I wouldn’t call this a “best things I bought in 2022” post because a few of these items were purchased long before last year, but these items all saw a lot of use from me last year. Some splurges, some far from it, and all things I foresee myself continuing to use regularly!

AYR button down: I have two of these shirts (in white and in blue) and reach for them often, mostly in the warmer months. The fit is oversized and the fabric is a really nice thick cotton.

Stanley cup: Stanleys have been all over social media the past couple of years and while some people love to hate them, they’re a favorite for me! I have two and exclusively drink out of them at home. The 45oz size, thick straw, and handle make it easy to consume 100+ ounces of water daily!

Uniqlo t-shirt: This $15 tee is a favorite for layering or wearing solo. It’s thicker than most and I prefer to size up 1-2 sizes (especially if you plan to dry it). It comes in tons of colors and I love that the white is fully opaque.

Chappywrap blanket: We have two Chappys and I love the size, material, and how well they wash and wear. We got our first one a few years ago and it looks the same as they day we got it! They’re pet and baby-friendly, too (especially in the mini size).

Thursday boots: I wear my Duchess boots constantly (they go with everything) and find them to be the most comfortable pair of flat boots I’ve tried.

Nécessaire lotion: My holy grail body lotion. A splurge but something I continue to rebuy!

La Ligne sweater: I’d had a Marin sweater on my wishlist for over a year before picking one up this fall and now own two 😂 They’re very warm and thick but somehow also flattering. Definitely an investment, but I haven’t gone a week without wearing one (or both) while we’ve been home in New York this fall/winter.

Marmot rain jacket: Not the most exciting purchase, but a basic rain jacket was on my to-buy list for a few years and I picked this one up when it went on sale last summer. It’s cut a bit slimmer than similar jackets on the market, which I think is nice if you’re not primarily using this for rugged activities.

Athleta leggings: My go-tos! Very comfortable and a great length, and goes on sale periodically.

Cuyana tote: I remember hesitating before I purchased this tote over three years ago, not being sure how often I’d reach for it. Spoiler: it’s one of my only few bags and I use it constantly, thanks to the in-between size and aesthetic versatility.

Eddie Bauer down coat: My puffy winter coat got a hole last year and this was my replacement–it’s also on super sale right now.

Sakura Micron pens: The best black pens!
